In May 2008 the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board and the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board partnered together and
formed the Hamilton-Wentworth Student Transportation Services (HWSTS) Consortium.
The Member Boards operate 170 schools throughout the district with an approximate combined student enrollment of more than 70,000. HWSTS
provides transportation services to approximately 28,000 students daily across the district via a number of transportation modes that include
both yellow-and-black school buses and HSR Transit. Our current school purpose vehicle fleet of 460 vehicles travels more than 35,000 kilometres
daily throughout the school year.
