In accordance with article 5 of the Student Transportation section in the approved HWCDSB transportation policy:

"A parent/guardian or designate assigned by the parent must accompany all junior and senior kindergarten students to and from the bus stop. Students are to be returned to the school if there is no parent, guardian or designate present."

Parents / guardians listed in the student data system for the HWCDSB are automatically identified as eligible to receive a JK/SK student by HWSTS. In the event that a parent/guardian wishes to add a designate to the list, they may do so by registering on the HWSTS Parent Portal, then adding authorized individuals via the JK/SK Authorizations link.
